Class Trip to Magna

Year 4 visited Magna to enhance their Science topic about Sound. They did 2 workshops - Sound and Electricity Circuits. They were able to put their sound knowledge to good use during their sound workshop, and they learnt how to make an electrical circuit in the second workshop. They also had time to explore the different areas of Magna - Earth, Fire, Air and Water.

Autumn Term 2

Year 4 Trip to Jorvic

As part of their Viking topic, Year 4 visited Jorvic and the Dig centre at York. They emersed themselves in Viking life and learnt all about Viking settlements in the area. They also became archaeologists and dug for artefacts from different time periods.
