New Attendance Initiatives for 2024/2025

At St. Joseph's, we are always encouraging our children to have excellent attendance and lots of children in school have their sights set on the end of year 100% attendance prize of going to Pizza Hut, which is fantastic.

However, we are also going to start rewarding children with a half termly and termly incentive too. We appreciate children can be genuinely ill and need time off school and if this happens in the autumn or spring terms, we still want children to feel like they are in with a chance of winning a good prize for coming to school each day, even if they cannot get the end of year reward.

So what are the extra prizes?

1) Each half term there will be a raffle prize of a Smyths voucher for £10 for one child in school who has 100% attendance.

2) Each term, there will be a raffle prize of an Asda voucher for £20 for one child in school with 100% attendance.

3) At the end of the autumn and spring terms, there will be a raffle prize of a Family of 4 Gulliver's Kingdom day ticket for one child in school with 100% attendance.

As usual, the end of year prize of a trip out for pizza will continue, with a slight twist this year, we're going to try Pizza Express where the children get to make their own pizzas too!

119 children were in with a chance of winning the £10 Smyths voucher for 100% attendance in the first half term, but only one child was lucky enough to win it!
