Spring Term - Once Upon a Time

Communication Mission

In Commando Joe, Reception children had to use their communication skills to guide their partner past the obstacles. They also had to use their resilience skills as they found it tricky, but they never gave up!

Teamwork Mission

Help, a Smed and a Smoo have gone missing! Not to worry, Reception children were able to work as a team to find them again. Phew!

Autumn Term - Magical Me!

Teamwork Mission

Reception had to work as elves during this mission, to help Santa get his presents from the workshop to the homes. The children had to use lots of different skills! Fantastic teamwork, excellent communication and resilience!

Resilience Mission

Reception children had to use their communication skills to work together and guide their partner while they were blindfolded! They had to collect the cones quickly but safely. The children thought it felt a bit scary to be blindfolded, but with the help of their friends they were very brave, and they all showed brilliant resilience to keep trying!
